New Bookmobile arriving

After 23 years and over 240,000 miles, Morton Mandan Public Library’s bookmobile is retiring.  A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new bookmobile will be held on Thursday, May 31st, at 1:30 p.m. at the Morton Mandan Public Library.

The launch will include brief remarks from board members and staff, tours of the new ADA accessible unit, followed by a reception.  A pictorial history of bookmobile services throughout the years and the design process of the new vehicle will be available for viewing along with free books for kids (while supplies last).

Ribbon-cutting ceremonies will be held at stops throughout the month of June.  All celebrations of the new bookmobile are free and open to all.  For more information, call the Library at 667-5365 or toll free 1-800-260-4291.
